These Terms apply to orders and purchases from Chef Catherine, 5731 Dwinnell St, Houston, Texas 77023. By paying for an order, you agree to these Terms.
Order requests and acceptance
Submitting the website form is an order request, not an automatic acceptance. Availability, final details and pickup arrangements must be confirmed by Chef Catherine. An order becomes final when it is confirmed and payment is received.
Products, prices and payment
Prices are shown in U.S. dollars and may change before an order is confirmed. Product appearance may vary because items are handmade. Payment is made through the secure payment link provided after confirmation. Chef Catherine does not store full card details.
Pickup
Customers are responsible for collecting orders at the confirmed location and time. Please contact us promptly if you expect to be late. Because food quality and safety can be affected by delay, unclaimed orders may be discarded and are not refundable.
Cancellations and refunds
If Chef Catherine must cancel an order, the amount paid for the unavailable item or order will be refunded. Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method when possible; processing time depends on the payment provider.
Changes and custom orders
Requested changes are subject to availability and may affect price or pickup time. Custom designs, large orders and special ingredients may require additional notice or a non-refundable deposit disclosed before payment.
Allergens and dietary information
Products may contain or come into contact with milk, eggs, wheat, gluten, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, sesame and other allergens. A “gluten-free” description identifies the recipe, but products are prepared in a kitchen that also handles gluten and other allergens. We cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. Customers with serious allergies should contact us before ordering.
Food care
Follow any storage, refrigeration and consumption instructions provided with the order. Chef Catherine is not responsible for deterioration caused by delayed pickup, improper transport, storage or handling after pickup.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chef Catherine is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
Events beyond our control
Performance may be delayed or cancelled because of severe weather, power failure, illness, supply interruption, government action or other circumstances beyond reasonable control. We will communicate available alternatives or refunds as appropriate.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be handled in a court of competent jurisdiction in Harris County, Texas, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
